SERVICES
Anchor Bolt Production
Challman can produce high quality anchor bolts to meet your needs. We are equipped to thread, bend, or galvanize products according to your custom specifications.
Fabrication
Our punch presses, drill presses, welders, and flame cutters allow us to fabricate a large assortment of custom parts to fit your needs. In many cases, we do work that cannot be sourced elsewhere.
Forging
We are specialists in forming steel using blast furnaces, upsetters, and punch presses. This equipment, coupled with our skilled personnel, allows us to produce any shape in rounds from 1/4" to 3-1/2', and plate up to 3' thick.
Threaded Bolts & Hardware
Challman stocks a variety of threaded bolts, nuts, washers, clevises, turnbuckles, and coupling nuts.
Barrier Pins
Challman is one of the largest manufacturers of barrier pins in the Midwest. We can produce connecting pins and barrier pins to meet State and Federal Requirements.
Specialty Fastners
According to your designs, Challman will happily produce custom fasteners to meet your specifications. We can make J Bolts and U Bolts at any length or size.
Metal Punching
Challman utilizes a CNC punch machine for precision sheet metal fabrication. We have the capability to produce high numbers of quality parts with intricate features and hole patterns.
Metal Forming
We use press brakes and punch presses to form sheet metal parts of varying complexity. Our machinery is capable of forming a wide range of material gauges.
Welding
We utilize TIG, MIG, and Wire-feed welding to assemble fully formed products. Our experienced personnel can produce products to your precise specifications.

Founded originally in 1880 as a blacksmith shop, Challman has been a fixture among Minneapolis small businesses for over a century now.
